June 7, 2022The most convenient ways to travel to Petrozavodsk are via intermediate points such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the conference place from the railroad station by public transport, or 10 munites by a taxi.
- By plane. Petrozavodsk is connected with Moscow (VKO) and several other Russian cities by direct flights. There is a regular bus between the airport and Petrozavodsk bus station.
- By train. A night train takes 10 hours to get to Petrozavodsk from Moscow. A sitting train from Saint Petersburg takes 5 hours. There is a variety of available hours, routes and compartment classes. You can buy tickets via the official website of the Russian railroads.
- By bus. There is a night bus from Saint Petersburg to Petrozavodsk.
